As a child, Carla remembers taking photos with her small camera. She couldn’t wait to get the film to the local drug store to see the results of her efforts.
     She still has that same passion. Memories pass so quickly, but photographs capture a person’s heart. Carla loves to take time with each person to draw out that unique smile or soul-filled eyes.

     "As a goal, I put myself in the child’s place and find ways to take his or her mind off the picture-taking process. It’s often a fun, playtime interaction. My goal is that each child truly enjoys our time together. Adults get a kick out of my expressions and silly sounds—meant for the children, but evoking natural smiles from parents and grandparents alike."
